Outdoor Recreation

Hike, bike, and discover Farragut’s beautiful parks, miles of greenway trails, and other outdoor amenities.

For sure, don’t miss Founders Park, in the heart of the town, and meander along the trail with your furry friend, rest on a park bench, read a historical marker, or bring lunch from a nearby restaurant.  It is conveniently located by the Farragut branch of the Knox County Library system.

McFee Park can’t be missed either, but you’d better bring your A-game here.  Amenities at McFee Park include tennis courts, pickleball courts, and a basketball court. The kids will love the playground and the area’s largest FREE splash pad.  Bring your bike for a ride on the adaptive trail.

Farragut boasts over 25 segments of greenway trails, totaling approximately 20 miles, to ride bikes, walk, run, or roller blade.  A favorite is the Grigsby Chapel Greenway, a 2.4-mile asphalt trail located on Grigsby Chapel Road, which connects many of the neighborhood subdivisions. From the Grisby Chapel Greenway, walk to Little Bagkok, Mellow Mushroom, or Water Into Wine for lunch or dinner.
